Abstract:AUTO is an application to continue simulated analytical soliton solutions to the parametrically driven damped nonlinear Schrodinger equation (PDDNLS). Using a Fourier space expansion we are able to investigate these periodic solitons for the PDDNLS. This implementation in AUTO is powerful and accurate, but exceptionally taxing computationally. Understanding the full behaviour of the soliton solutions has application in oscillating water tanks, optical fibers, pendula and ferromagnets (all in very specific regimes).
