Description:Fluent is a Finite Element Method code for Computing Fluid Dynamics; during Trigrid it has been ported onto the Grid to run as a parallel code as an MPICH job on a GigaBit Ethernet layer; during PI2S2 this code has been implemented on the InfiniBand net support and started its production on various COMETA sites; the availability of a standardized and powerful infrastructure have been allowing a broader data production and higher performances, compared to the usual dedicated clusters; this code has also been used to tune up and validate the infrastructure as a HPC facility.
