Description:Simulating and analysing the dynamic behaviour of biochemical models
Abstract:The SIMAP Utility is a platform-independent environment for modelling biochemical networks, and also for simulating and analysing the dynamic behaviour of biochemical models. The SIMAP utility provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI), which allows the user to import, create, edit, and export the biochemical models conforming to the SBML standard. The core of the utility comprises the SBML ODE Solver Library (SOSlib). The utility has a set of computational modules for simulating and analysing biochemical models, i.e. an Ordinary Differential Equations-based simulator, a sensitivity analyser, a parameter scanner, a model fitting module, a gene knockdown analyser, and a model logic checker.
The application was ported within the framework of the FP7 EDGeS project.
